Multi-Merchandising Action Professionals was founded as the merchandising arm of a non-foods rack jobber in 1992. In 1995, MAP was purchased by William A. Wilkinson, the Director of Sales for the rack-jobber, who had a vision of a stand alone merchandising company that could provide quality service without the bias of being a sales representative for particular product lines.

Since it's founding, MAP has continued to grow and provides excellent service for a variety of product lines throughout retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region. MAP has expanded its service to include helping the retailers themselves handle product and fixture, which allows MAP to act as a valuable liaison between vendors and retailers.

MAP is and has been a member in good standing of NARMS (The National Association of Retail Merchandising Services) and believes in the pursuit of excellence in quality of service, reliability and utilization of the best practices in the industry.
